Why you don´t move forward when you use your best self over and over again

You work hard, using your best parts and… still nothing

If you’re a highly sensitive person who’s been trapped in this “working hard, but nothing has changed” loop, it´s maddening. Constantly relying only on your strengths might be the very thing keeping you from moving forward. Sounds wierd? I know.

Pouring your energy, creativity and passion into your work — only to find yourself in the same place — It’s frustrating. If something still feels off and you want to overcome stagnation in business, maybe you would have to look where your brain would never look for a success — at your weak points. I´ll show you.

Like a solo worker — can you focus just on what you are good at?

So, you usually listen to your brain and keep doing what you’re great at. It feels right, easy, and natural. You’re enthusiastic, and everything seems fine. Except… you’re not getting the results you want. What to do? This is my success tip for solo entrepreneurs!

You´ll need to look at those parts of yourself that are uncomfortable for you, that you don´t want to deal with, that you don´t use because is boring to use them. Those parts are exactly what you need to succeed. Why?

When you’re in a team, it’s good for everyone to play to their strengths. Each person fits in and contributes the most. Imagine if everyone did everything and some of it halfway bad — you can feel it wouldn’t work. But what if you’re alone? Can you afford to ignore any part of yourself?

Success slips through your fingers exactly where you DO NOT use parts of yourself

Reality will show you. Right where you’ve neglected something, your results will slip through your fingers. Like a solo worker – doing everything on your own — you don’t have the luxury of just focusing on what you’re good at, unlike when you work in a team.

It’s maddening that you’ll need to deal with your weaknesses and start using them, but it’s the key to getting results. Let me share my personal example.

When vision meets reality: My personal struggle with stagnation

Is your superpower having a rich inner vision and tons of inspirational thoughts like I have?

If you follow your instincts and focus on your strongest self, your business efforts might look something like this.

From visionary to stuck: How my big ideas kept me spinning in place

I have a clear vision for my project, so I start the research. I scour the internet and social media, gathering inspiration. I find a few good things, then I start.  And it kind of works. I get excited by that and start absorbing even more inspiration. So many ideas and thoughts and I have to make all this happen, it sounds amazing!

I´m fueled by dreams that grow inside me like mushrooms after rain. They’re vivid, tangible and incredibly specific. This is exactly what I want. So I keep going. I develop my inner world down to the tiniest detail because I think my success depends on it and… because I am so good at it.

The trap of endless ideas and no action. I chase inspiration!

I’ve got something, but I´m not ready yet. This isn’t how I wanted it. Something’s still missing, but I see it so perfectly. Why isn’t it working? More inspiration. More ideas. Hey, this could work too.

So, I try it. And I start jumping from one thing to another. Idea after idea, all prep and tweaking, but nothing consistent to ensure the idea gets where it belongs — out there.

Breaking the cycle: How I finally learned to turn ideas into results

It’s boring, not nearly as exciting or colorful and honestly a bit of a pain — pick one thing, execute it and stop worrying about how it looks or the trivial details. Basically, something I don’t do at all. Because what am I best at? Having a rich inner vision and lots of inspiration.

You know what is the funny thing here? The first moment I put the idea out there, I KNOW if it´s something to continue with, or not. There is no chance I can be sure if the visions I have are truly! the right ones for me. Only releasing my idea to the outer world can answer that.

The final piece — your whole self

Maybe you’re spinning in circles with your own strengths. Are you amazing at analyzing and thinking? Then you´ll know everything, but you´ll envy success of those who don´t even know a half of your knowledge, but unlike you they just started. Do you love to manage others? Then you´ll never have your own thing, because you won´t be able to move your own butt without a bunch of people around you.

You can probably see where such efforts might lead if you mainly use your strengths. Real stories! And imagine how great those traits are at job.

Is there a glimmer of hope now if you’re alone in your entrepreneurial dream and can’t seem to succeed? The results lies where your brain would never look — at your weak points. Start to use them and you´ll finally experience the progress you have always wanted.
